Kelsey Conklin
Program Coordinator
Kelsey grew up in Carson City, NV, raising a variety of animals, including llamas, rabbits, frogs, and turkeys, which undoubtedly contributed to her fascination with the outdoors and her interest in sharing the exciting world with everyone who would listen. She attended the University of Nevada, Reno, and majored in Elementary Education and Spanish with a little bit of art thrown in there. Since then, she has lived everywhere from the west on the Pacific Ocean to the East Coast on the Atlantic with time spent in Washington, D.C., and Costa Rica as well.
She loves exclamation points (and usually uses too many) and tie dye (which makes up too much of her closet). In her free time, she pretends to like running, while really just likes playing soccer. She also enjoys reading, exploring new places, baking cookies, and sharing random interesting facts about Washington, D.C.
