Jump into the fun with our summer day camp, where campers can experience all the adventure and enjoyment of a Sierra Nevada Journeys program in a day camp setting. We offer eight weeks of STEM-based day camp programs for children ages 6-12 years old in at Sacramento Valley Conservancy’s Camp Pollock, Sacramento, CA.
Our team of talented educators and camp counselors lead campers through a combination of daily themed STEM activities, nature exploration, daily water play, and campers’ choice. In addition to traditional camp activities, each week of camp focuses on a specific theme. Our low camper-to-staff ratio and small groups allow for the perfect combination of group instruction and personal attention.

Things to Know
Each week, camp focuses on a different theme.
Camp runs Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and we’ve got you covered with aftercare (3:30-5:00 p.m.).
Camp takes place outdoors under shaded pergolas; please make sure your child wears weather-appropriate clothes, sunscreen, a hat, and sturdy shoes.
Themes include space exploration, dinosaurs, outdoor adventures and much more.
Daily schedule:
8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Camp Activities
3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Aftercare
Price
2026: $275 per week and $25 per day for aftercare. Families are responsible for providing a morning snack and a sack lunch for their day camper. Water stations are on site.
A deposit of $75 per child is due at the time of registration and the balance due for all sessions is June 1, 2026.
Camp Protection Insurance: You have the option to purchase Camp Protection Insurance for $40 per week of camp. All camp fees are non-refundable unless Camp Protection Insurance is purchased at the time of registration.
