FAQS
What time is camp? Drop-off begins at 8:30 am and program starts at 8:15 am. Pick-up is from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m.
Can a parent or guardian pick up after 3:30 pm? There is no aftercare and pick up must be made before 3:30 pm.
Where is the camp located? The Club at ArrowCreek, 2905 Arrowcreek Pkwy, Reno, NV 89511.
What will campers be doing each day at camp? All campers will participate in a combination of daily themed STEM activities, nature exploration, swimming, and campers’ choice. In addition to the themed activities, campers will have the opportunity to participate in traditional camp activities each week, including making tie-dye shirts, taking nature walks, participating in large group games, and having a group skit. Here is the schedule of daily activities:
8:30 am: Drop off
8:45 am: Opening Circle
9:10 am: STEM and Themed Activities
Noon: Lunch
12:30 pm: Camper's Choice
1:30 pm: Afternoon Snack
1:45 pm: Swimming at the Pool
3:00 - 3:30 pm: Pick-upDo parents or guardians need to provide lunch for their camper? Yes, campers need to bring a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration or anything that must be microwaved. Snacks will be provided.
In addition to lunch and a snack, what else should be brought to camp? Camp takes place indoors and outdoors, so be prepared for various weather conditions. Dress in layers with weather-appropriate clothes, sunscreen, a hat, and sturdy shoes. Bring a water bottle and a backpack. Swimming at the on-site pool is planned for every day at camp. Please bring a swimsuit and a towel.

Policies
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, CAMP PROTECTION AND PAYMENT POLICIES
CANCELLATIONS
All monies are NON-REFUNDABLE unless Camp Protection Insurance is purchased at the time of the original registration. Camp Protection Insurance is per child, per week, and may not carry over or be applied to another student.
DEPOSIT
A non-refundable deposit of $75 per child per session is required to secure your reservation for Summer Day Camp. All remaining camp fees are due by June 1. If you have not paid your child’s fee by June 1, your credit card on file will be automatically charged.
PAYMENT METHOD
If you prefer to use a different payment method or need to update your card on file, please log into your CampBrain account, scroll to the bottom, and click New Payment.
CAMP PROTECTION INSURANCE
Life can happen when you least expect it. Help protect your investment by purchasing Camp Protection Insurance for a one-time fee of $50 per camper, per session.
All monies are NON-REFUNDABLE unless Camp Protection Insurance is purchased at the time of registration.
This insurance allows you to cancel at any time before 8 am on the first scheduled drop-off date (Monday morning), no questions asked.
Additionally, you will receive a full refund minus the $75 non-refundable deposit and the Protection Plan fee of $100. You must purchase the protection plan at the time of your original registration.
NOTICE TO CANCEL (With Protection Plan)
To cancel and receive your refund, you must submit in writing by email, a notice of cancellation. Please email the Senior Program Director or call 775-355-1688 x1036 during regular business hours.
EARLY DISMISSAL OR DEPARTURE
Early dismissal or departure from camp will result in a complete loss of fees.
Dismissals resulting from behavior-related or criminal actions are not eligible for refund.
Dismissals or departures due to sickness or injury are subject to complete loss of fees depending on the circumstances, time spent at day camp, and ability to attend another session.
Refunds are not available for loss of programming or changes to programming made to accommodate weather conditions.
