We host unique, themed camps at our Outdoor Education Camp in Portola, CA. Join us for a weekend filled with intentional, fun activities. Sierra Nevada Journeys’ specialty camps include:

Family Camps are a time when families come together for a mini-reunion weekend of fun, laughter, and a variety of camp activities.

Girls in STEM is a weekend STEM camp for girls — ages 10 to 14, from Title 1 schools — hosted in collaboration with Women in Tesla (WIT). Sierra Nevada Journeys educators and WIT volunteers lead participants through a weekend of team building and outdoor exploration.

UNIQUE CAMPS WITH OUR PARTNERS

Backcountry Leadership Trips are a partnership with Summer Search, a San Francisco-based mentorship organization, that takes first-generation, college-bound students on a two-week outdoor excursion. Applications for this experience occurs through Summer Search and Sierra Nevada Journeys leads the trips. Find out more.
