Challenge Course Manager
Hey, my name is Travis and I'm the Logistics Coordinator with Sierra Nevada Journeys. I grew up in the San Fernando Valley of California, but spent a lot of time up in the mountains all over the place. When I'm not doing outdoorsy stuff like camping, hiking, and climbing trees you can find me on the basketball courts or at the movies. Just not at the same time, lol. That would be cool though — a basketball movie theater; nah, it would get too loud! I digress, after graduating from high school I went to California State University, Northridge and earned a degree in Recreation Management (a.k.a., Fun Management) and have spent my time since then trying to have as much fun as possible. So far so good! I've spent time working in kindergarten classrooms, after school enrichment programs, summer camps, recreation facilities, and outdoor education camps from Los Angeles to Texas.

My favorite movie has been, still is, and will forever be, “Remember the Titans.” The teamwork, the comradery, the emotion, and the friendship — just highlights all the best parts of life in my opinion. What’s my favorite color? Well, thanks again for asking! It is so kind of you to ask! My favorite color is turquoise, although you'll likely find me wearing black. Who is someone that inspires me? May answer is Kobe Bryant. I grew up watching Kobe and his determination and dedication to his craft has inspired me every day of my life.
