Kim grew up in Orange County, California and spent much of her childhood outside and exploring new places. During college, she was able to fulfill one of her childhood dreams and worked at Disneyland seasonally at the Haunted Mansion. She has a Master’s degree in Education and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University, Fullerton.
In 2011, she moved to Bishop, California where she taught in a small, rural K-12 school instructing subjects such as Outdoor Adventures, Computer Skills, Horticulture, and also lead instructional intervention groups. She has also spent the past 7 summers as an instructor/counselor at a residential summer camp in northern California and found that camp is where she loves to be the most. She enjoys spending her free time outside hiking, road biking, and trying new activities. Kim started with Sierra Nevada Journeys in February of 2015 and is thrilled to be here!
