Sierra Nevada Journeys delivers innovative outdoor, science-based education programs for youth. As a nonprofit, we’ve helped more than 300,000 youth with our mission and continue forward with a singular focus: to support local students, families and schools.

Some of our fondest memories in life are experienced outdoors — summer camps, family hikes, exploring with friends, and so much more. Being outdoors not only connects us to the natural world and those around us, but also connects us to the deepest parts of ourselves.

Many children are growing up without the opportunity to experience nature. They are missing out on some of life’s best adventures, and Sierra Nevada Journeys is working to build these important connections.
