On-Site Coordinator

Full-time, Seasonal, February to Mid-November
Location: Outdoor Education Camp, Portola, CA

The On-Site Coordinator provides day-to-day leadership and coordination for school and community programs at Sierra Nevada Journeys’ Outdoor Education Camp. This role supports students, guests, teachers, and staff by overseeing on-site logistics, facilitating program activities, addressing behavioral and program needs, and creating a welcoming, supportive experience for visiting groups. The OSC serves as a key point of contact for groups while at camp and works closely with program leadership to ensure programs run smoothly and effectively.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily program logistics, supporting student and group needs, facilitating staff communication and meetings, responding to program changes, and helping ensure activities are delivered safely and effectively. The OSC works collaboratively with program leadership and is knowledgeable across instructor roles, allowing them to step into instructional and leadership responsibilities as needed.
