TEEN SURVIVAL CAMP
Includes Trips to Nearby Campgrounds
WEEK 6: JULY 21 - 26; OPEN FOR BOYS & GIRLS
Ages 14 - 17 | Price: $799
Interested in what it takes to survive in the outdoors without having to carry around a 30-pound backpack? Then Teen Survival Camp is the right camp for you. During this week, you will get a chance to camp in a local campground for a couple of nights while participating in activities such as day hikes, shelter building, camp cooking (and cleaning), flora and fauna identification, orienteering and map reading, trip planning, and other outdoor related activities. You will spend the first day team building on our challenge course and learning to pack up supplies for a trip before setting off on the expedition of a lifetime. Come put your outdoor recreation and camping skills to the test!
Note: While on campus, campers will be staying in ground level tents with other campers of the same gender. The bathrooms (portable restrooms) are a short walk away from the tents. Campers will have access to hot-water showers and flush toilets in the nearest building (less than 80 yards away). This centrally located unit also has its own fire pit and picnic tables.
