Megan was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV where she enjoyed visiting Red Rock, Mt. Charleston and the surrounding areas. She moved to Reno in 2006 to attend the University of Nevada, Reno to receive her degree in Journalism with an emphasis in advertising. After graduating, it wasn’t even a question whether or not she would stay in the area. Reno became home.

Megan has a diverse professional background. Prior to joining Sierra Nevada Journeys, Megan worked at Noble Studios, a digital media agency in Reno. She worked with global brands such as, Union Square San Francisco, FICO, Visit Newport Beach and others to implement forward-thinking digital marketing campaigns. She also worked as a graphic designer at Innerwest Advertising and Public Relations, and Swift Communications. She has volunteered for multiple nonprofits including the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, and the Girl Scouts of Sierra Nevada. In 2013 and 2014, she was a part of The Reno Wired group of creatives and strategists that helped rebrand Committee to Aid Abused Women (CAAW) and Ridge House, a statewide organization providing re-entry services to former offenders.

Megan and her husband enjoy hiking with their dog, taking road trips in California, Oregon and across Nevada, and can often be seen at the newest restaurant in Reno. Their greatest adventure thus far is raising their son.
