Residential Outdoor Science Instructor
Miguel is from Rancho Cucamonga, CA in Southern California. He studied Environmental Sciences at Mount San Antonio College.
His passion for the natural world and community has always been reflected in his work. He has been involved in local environmental justice groups in Southern California, with the goal of making the Inland Empire a healthier place for the next generation. His wish as a second season Residential Outdoor Science Instructor at Sierra Nevada Journeys is to use biology and teamwork to inspire students to stand up for their environment.
During his free time, Miguel enjoys making music art, studying history and language, and catching up on science fiction.
