Fez Trevail

Challenge Course Manager

Born and adopted from Bucharest, Romania, Fez Trevail, lived in Italy for most of his childhood until his family moved to Northern California. He has more than a decade of experience working at summer camps, outdoor education centers and various nonprofit organizations.

Fez recently moved from Newtown, Connecticut and joined Sierra Nevada Journeys as our Challenge Course Manager. He has worked throughout New England and the Tri-State area as an Experiential Education Facilitator. Fez coordinated students and adults in team building programs and challenge courses programming where they learn how to build trust and work together.

He studied Recreational Management at Colorado Mountain College and received training as an EMT. Recently, Fez completed an ACCT Level II Challenge Course Practitioner Certification.

Over the past two summers, Fez was the Challenge Course Manager for Camp Lavi, a modern Orthodox Jewish coed sleep away camp in Lakewood, Pennsylvania, where he led staff members from Israel in training them on the high ropes course. He loved inspiring colleagues and campers to get out of their comfort zone.

When Fez isn’t on the course, you can usually find him on the local hiking trails or camping at state and National Parks. This past year, Fez found himself in Jerusalem, Israel and fell in love with the Israeli culture and its people and looks forward to visiting it again soon.

Fez brings a variety of team-building and high ropes experience to Sierra Nevada Journeys challenging others to think outside of the box. He can’t wait to meet our campers at Grizzly Creek Ranch and get them out on the ropes course.
