Ready to take the plunge and really get out into the wild? Come and join us for one of our outstanding residential overnight programs and have the experience of a lifetime! Whether it’s for your classroom or you are a parent looking for a summer camp program, Sierra Nevada Journeys is the place for you and your students!
Here are the residential programs that we are currently offering:
Join us for our 5-day residential education program located at Grizzly Creek Ranch, on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Over the course of the program, professional instructors teach local elementary school students hands-on, kinesthetic environmental education lessons that allow them to first gain an understanding of environmental sciences then perform community-service projects to inspire them to become stewards of our natural world, and finally work together in leadership and team-building exercises to bond as a class-community.
School’s out for the summer, now what? Come and join us for a 5 day residential adventure at Summit Camp for current 3rd-7th grade students! Friends, fun, hiking, music, camp fire- a truly once in a life time experience!
Get outside- Sierra Nevada Journeys teams up with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association to offer 9th-12th grade leaders a chance to get way out there with our Youth Back Country Camps!
Although not residential, Sierra Nevada Journeys is also offering some fun and exciting Earth-to-Sky day camp programs this summer! Please Stay tuned to find out more!
