Challenge Course Manager, Grizzly Creek Ranch-The candidate should be passionate about outdoor education, leadership development and outstanding student outcomes.   The position will be based out of our Grizzly Creek Ranch Campus, Portola in Northern California. The position has responsibility for overall management of our site’s entire challenge course including: training, facilitation, oversight, risk-management, maintenance, documentation and feedback to other Campus staff members.  This is a 32-week seasonal position with incentives to return each year.  The Challenge Course Manager reports to the Vice President of the Grizzly Creek Ranch Campus. House Keeping Staff Position, Grizzly Creek Ranch-Duties of the Campus House Keeper will be to support the Assist Facilities Director in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities for the Campus, including buildings and grounds, as well as supporting all other areas of the facility, including maintenance, kitchen and program when necessary. Maintenance Assistant, Grizzly Creek Ranch-Duties of the Maintenance Assistant will be to support the Maintenance Director in all aspects of camp maintenance including building and grounds maintenance and housekeeping, as well as supporting the kitchen and program staff when necessary. Development Officer Independent Contractor- The Development Officer position oversees all aspects of fundraising outside of grant-writing with specific emphasis on individual and corporate donors, event planning, online fundraising, and general media relations. Grant-Writer Independent Contractor- The Grant Writer position will identify possible grants and write large grants with a particular emphasis on state and federal educational grants. The Grant-Writer reports to the Executive Director and will work closely with a Vista associate. The Grant-Writer will be responsible writing grants for the organization valued at $100,000-$150,000 monthly from a variety of foundation, corporate, and federal/state agency sources.  The Grant-Writer will also be responsible for a variety of other Grant Writing, Reporting, and Research responsibilities.  To read the full description, click here.
