Summit Camp Update!
Summer is here and the students shining face are smiling. Students this year are staying in teepees, this is an awesome opportunity for students because they get to design and lay their beds in any way they like. The girl’s teepees are arranged in a large circle where they can lay and play cards. The guys on the other hand are not as organized and are just kind of everywhere. But to each their own! It’s their teepee and their week! With yesterday being our first full day, students had a great time on our challenge course where they learned about team work, leadership and communication. Many of the students will be talking about the flying squirrel for weeks to come! Today is the first student sign-up day. With 4 periods in the day student get to choose from a wide variety of activities from archery, kayaking, fishing, hiking, arts and crafts, field games, swimming and so much more! Tonight students will be making their own ice cream… but shhhh, don’t tell them.
