1,2,3 POLAR BEAR SWIMMMMMM

Hi Friends!
I can’t really tell you how cold the water is at 7am. I could tell you that the water is 70 degrees Fahrenheit, but that wouldn’t quite articulate how COLD it really is.
This morning it seemed to be a bit chillier than yesterday. (Props to Logan for taking this AMAZING picture too!)
For those of us who went hiking yesterday, there were a few really great animal sighting, the largest of those was a four point buck. We were nice and quiet, so it hung out for a bit.
Today we have been brushing up on our teamwork and doing some low ropes. Tomorrow we will be harnessing up and doing high ropes!
Thanks for all of your loving messages! We can’t wait to tell you all about our camp expereince on Thursday!
Go Play Outside!

Something you should know about me:
I was first introduced to Sierra Nevada Journeys as an undergraduate student. I participated in several workshops during my time as a student. After graduation I was hired to work on our campus in Portola, CA. At the end of the summer I joined the staff in the Reno office as an Experiential Educator. I enjoy working with SNJ for the opportunity to work with a variety of student populations and the chance to teach curriculum focusing on scientific concepts. The work environment is always positive and encouraging. My role at SNJ is providing me with numerous opportunities and tools to accomplish my personal and
caeegoals.
